ART
I did not choose art as my life path, it chose me. My parents, Longina Poterek-Krenz and Jerzy Krenz, were also artists. Our house was full of artworks, paintings, sculptures and antiques, art determined the rhythm of family life. Being an artist is part of my identity, it’s like breathing – I can’t live without it. I have a sense of mission, I am a storyteller, I deal with topics such as religion, social issues, ecology and politics, because I believe that the role of artists is to talk about difficult things, to draw attention to invisible processes, to create space for reflection.
